Flawless Jerky was founded by Chris Vencill in 2012. Chris is a big hunter and outdoorsman. On a Guided Snow Goose Hunting trip in 2012 a guide handed him a piece of Snow Goose Jerky and told him this is the best way to eat any kind of goose; most people can't make good goose jerky. Chris took that as a challenge so when he got back home he worked on a marinade for his jerky and made a pound of goose jerky. After taking it to his Bible study it was gone in seconds. All of a sudden people started asking for the recipe, if they could buy some, or if they could get the same marinade for deer jerky. Thus, Flawless Jerky Was Born!
After being inactive for few years, Chris attended Culinary School at Hinds Comunity College in Jackson, MS for 1 year and then enrolled in Meat Merchandicising at Hinds Community College in Raymond, MS. Chris then started working in high-end restaurant, some of which were a farm-to-table and a speak easy while working as a private cook for a corporate hunting property. In 2017, Chris met his now wife Sarynn. In 2019, they were married and brought the business back to life in 2020. Chris' main focus is on the jerky creations and Sarynn's is on the business side. Together they are committed to creating quality jerky products.
With both Chris and Sarynn coming from God-fearing and country serving families, Flawless Jerky is Christian-owned/operated and will always support the Military, Law Enforcement, First Responders, Nurses, and Doctors. They are truly the real day-to-day heroes.
During the summer of 2022 Chris's Stepdad, Antonio Keatts, joined the business as a Co-Owner, Project Manager, and Event Logistics. He is a Army Combat Vet (Artillery) 18 years. He Served in Desert Storm/Desert Shield.
